I had a different idea for a wave shot, facing the ocean directly shooting when the waves retreat instead I shot diagonal shooting when the waters move forward to catch the swirl around the boulder. I had my filters on shooting a long exposure dawn, had to adjust quick to take this shot without taking off the screw on ND. There wasn't much cloud so the light would turn harsh faster, of course there was also the problem of the weakening swell and the onset of low tide. Had to be extra quick to catch this one. It pays to master the art of speed shooting... hehehe
