I had shot all morning at Mossbrae, then explored up a dirt road in the mountains around Castle Craggs. Late afternoon I decided to head back down as I was going to a gallery opening for Brad Goldpaint that evening and still needed dinner and a shower. Of course, upon seeing these lenticulars above Shasta, I had to make the time for a detour and head over to the side of the mountain where I knew I could get the light at the right angle and still see the mountain over the trees. I think it turned out OK, but I still need to go back! :)
Hope you've been out there enjoying the changing weather and I hope we'll end up with a good snow pack this year! Thanks for taking the time for a look.
