An Australian White Ibis surveys the scene at the Chinese Garden of Friendship in the Darling Harbour section of Sydney.
White Ibis are considered pests by many Australians, but as a foreigner, I was delighted to see this beautiful and exotic looking bird all over the city.

As the sun illuminates the white back, is stunning! Fantastic dteails on the feathers and a razor sharp head with shiny eye, on top of that all is in a heavenly green frame of leaves. Just great, Adrienne!
