For my end to this Princeton series I am posting an image I took when I stepped just outside the campus gates as we were leaving for home. To my right was this wonderful spot. What was on the left and right of this frame was there for me to place it in context. For other viewers, it needed to be a square to show only what got my attention. I went there hoping for some fall colors and here they are. This is what I wanted to remember from our little trip to Princeton, the intimacy of fall.
Princeton is an absolutely beautiful campus. It became one of those times when as a photographer, there is a struggle to be either a participant or an observer. I have an appreciation for architecture but Princeton has a much greater appreciation for architecture. When you think of an Ivy League school, this is one of the best examples you’ll find. I grew up closer to Harvard, so I like that place the best, but it’s very close to a tie.
