This is called the Monument by the locals of Atlantic City, NJ. It was a gift from France given in honor of war veterans from World War l. Before the casinos and the incoming roads to Atlantic City were changed this is what you saw when you first entered and then you either went to the right to Ventnor, Margate & Longport or to the left for Atlantic City.
