Yes, this is an icon shot, no, I don't care. Delicate Arch is one of those places that you need to see in person to get a proper appreciation of it and its setting.
We were fortunate to be there last week after a recent snow storm blanketed the La Sal mountains with snow. Winter light at sunset with the sun setting further south really lights up the sandstone to the point where it's glowing (much like the reflected light in a slot canyon). The other benefit of winter is less visitors!
