On our first day in New Zealand, after spending 2 hours in the queue at Countdown which is really just a Woolworths, picking up some supplies before everything closes down for Xmas, I went for a little drive around Lake Rotorua and found this cool little jetty. Most of the day was overcast with intermittent rain so I was confident of a nice sunset, what I got was something truly spectacular, the sky lite up golden and bruised purple , with a gnarly old pier, my favourite subject, I couldn't go wrong.
I'm off to Lake Taupo this afternoon before Santa makes his rounds to our house and the chaos starts.
I shot this using my new Tilt Shift Flip System I've developed which will be ready to launch in the first quarter of 2013. The best part of this new kit is non level compositions, only two frame stitching, faster between frames, faster stitching time and less errors and problems with moving subjects.
