Katehaki Pedestrian Bridge, Athens – Architect Santiago Calatrava
(best viewed large on black)

I thought I was done with this bridge, but it seems that it's like a love affair between us, every time I go there I discover something else that I hadn't seen before and that I like. So, there I was at the Athens Architectural Photography Workshop that I organized a few weeks ago and obviously one of the locations to shoot was this bridge. I didn't expect myself to take too many photos there as I wanted to focus more on the participants and what they needed, but I did take a couple of LE and one of them is this. I hadn't noticed this angle before and one of the explanations for not having seen it might be that now I shot with a wider lens than the one I used to shoot with. This is shot with my Nikon 10-24mm, while before I was shooting at 18mm the widest. Not a big difference apparently, but in reality it is a huge difference. I had tried that position before, I remember well, but it didn't click till the moment I changed the lens.
So, here's a good advice in order to find new angles and get fresh ideas: change your lens ...and do a workshop :)
