The recent snowfall has literally transformed the landscape of one of my favorite local spots: the Forest Falls Recreation Area in California. This is not far from where you can park your car - less than 1/2 mile! Despite this, very few people venture beyond the small hills (where they can sled) and picnic tables (where they can eat) near the lot. That's just fine with me. Leaves me to enjoy this wonderful place in wonderful silence and gratitude and a full heart from nature's beauty.
