Often disregarded, Edith Falls, just north of Katherine Gorges in the Northern Territory, is a beautiful and very peaceful place! Treks of different levels will take you to various spots upstreams, and in particular where this photo was taken, a little paradise... This natural pool, half way on the trek, allows to rest and refresh in a location where the temperatures can be very hot. Walking bare foot on those rocks actually proved tricky as they were so hot we could have cooked an egg on it ;-). If you have the opportunity to stop over, do not hesitate!
