This is the most beautiful and regal male lion I have ever laid my eyes on. He rules the resident pride around Kij Kij in the Kgalagadi, and on this morning we found him patrolling his territory with a blood-covered face, roaring as he strode along the Nossob riverbed with confidence. As Marlon Du Toit put it - he reminds me of Aslan in Narnia.
This is a wild lion...just for info :)
