At this time of year, Lake Louise would be frozen over, but this shot was taken during a surprise, mid-September snowstorm that brought a lot of branches down because the leaves were still on the trees.

yes, this is a crazy winter. Our temps are down, especially at night, but this, for sure is not normal.
