We've had so much rain in the last week that the lake was swollen and the trunk of the tree was totally submerged, they say the Tangaroa God is angry when this happens.
I couldn't get as close to the tree as I'd like, even waste deep was still too far, not to mention very cold. The clouds popped nicely and I decided on a 1o second exposure to smooth out the water.
