After weeks of feeling completely conspired against by Mother Nature I finally got some light this morning.

This shot was from Carl Wark, an iron age hill fort that is often seen photographed from Higger Tor (Higger Tor in the distance).

I really feel like this one has paid off. Honestly, the last four attempts at sunset/sunrise here have been fruitless. I've ever been thwarted banks of cloud, rain, lack of light etc. This just made me even more determined to actually get a photo from here. So 5th time lucky I guess.

I'm actually that excited I couldn't resist posting this one up before finishing off processing the rest of the mornings work.

I think I'll leave Carl Wark alone for some time now, it's let me have its ripe fruits but I suspect they would soon go sour.

Just goes to show, I'm not always as lucky with the weather and light as my images may seem.....there's just a lot you don't see ;)
