Bone chilling cold greeted me at sunrise and the temperature refused to budge for the entire day. At sunset I migrated to the west end of Loch a Chroisg as this is the very last place at this location to see the sun. Just after sunset proved best with the sky colouring from ochre through violet to crimson with that being repeated to a lesser extent in the hoar frosted grasses.
