White tigers are not a particular species or breed. They do not come from a specific country or region. White tigers are really whims of nature. They happen to be born with a separate colour. They are not albinos because they don’t lack pigment and they do not have the pink albino eyes.
White tigers have a very pale skin that is almost white. But the stripes are very dark brown, almost black. The eyes of the white tiger are light and their nose and pads under the legs are pink.
They are very rare. Zoos and collectors highly appreciate the possession of such tigers. They were seen in the wild only occasionally.
