Late this afternoon I headed out to the local rose garden. It started raining. While waiting, a magical thing happened: I felt just as fulfilled watching the beautiful slanting light through trees and seeing the raindrops lit against the silhouettes of the palm trees and the double rainbows forming, I forgot about taking pictures - at least for a few minutes. Then, it stopped raining, but then was very close to dark. So, I just rolled with that and made the shoot into an experiment with higher ISOs. Voila! A learning experience, and some beauty, happened.
