The Brooklyn bridge is a great place for a New York sunrise and this particular morning was no exception. Here we are looking north through the bridge support wires at the East River. The silhouette of the Manhattan bridge is ahead with Manhattan to our left and Brooklyn to our right. If you look closely, you can just make out the tower to the Williamsburg bridge on the horizon. The cloud cover in the distance was sparse, allowing most of the sun to burn through. It got much thicker over the river, but right above my vantage point the clouds dispersed and the brilliant blue sky made itself visible.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
