Came across this makeshift shelter on the 3rd day of our high altitude trek over the Himalayas last year.It is situated between Ali and Bedni Bugyal, two of the most beautiful Alpine meadows you will ever see.This cute little place is built with whatever little resources are available around that place as there are no means of transportation/roads at such heights. We are above the tree line as the amount of oxygen needed is scarce for the trees to survive. Was probably built for the weary trekker to take shelter from the elements.
