So, in the 3 months I've been away, I've kept myself fairly busy. We've moved from the storied lanes of Cambridge, UK to the bright lights of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Along the way, we spent 5 weeks on the American west coast, driving over 4,000 miles to places like Big Sur, Yosemite, Death Valley and the Grand Canyon.
I'd read and seen so many pictures of these places before that I almost felt like I knew them even before we got there. And yet, they were still jaw-droppingly epic.
While this doesn't quite fit in with the type of image I normally post here, this one has significance personally. This was shot in Yosemite, at Valley View. It's the first time ever that I could actually see the Milky Way with the naked eye. It was epic! There were so many stars in the sky that I couldn't identify the constellations that I'm normally so familiar with.
We're finally starting to settle in here now so I'm hoping to be able to start shooting and posting again soon.
Hope you've all been well!
