One of the highlights of a 35-day solo backpacking trek across Alaska's Boundary Range last summer was these amazing caves of blue ice I crawled into and explored inside of a massive network of glaciers. Streams carved out nearly a mile of continuous tunnels and passageways made out of semi-translucent ice and it was exhilarating to have the place - as well as the entire range, to myself. There are many new images from this trek on my website.
