This is a timeless photo. I could have easily taken this in '88 with my Pentax K1000. Since then, I have backpacked across many of the mountains seen from here. Later this month, I plan to hike right by this very spot. Yes I like this photo!

What I do like: the figure in the shot adds a nice focal point and some implied depth by the direction she's looking. I also like the use of the foreground in the composition - those rocks have a nice texture to them and the light looks great on them. What I don't like: I'm not such a fan of the curvature on the horizon or the way the blueish tones merge into the horizon. That's just me: looks like I'm in the minority though :-)
