I like to take photos at night. I like the unpredictable nature of the light and shadow, the colors that I don’t see with my self-correcting eyes. It is not a safe thing to be doing, so it is done quickly and inconspicuously as possible. No DSLR being flashed around, just the little black camera. Any surface becomes a tripod. A few clicks and I’m gone.
This is the side yard of Saint John the Evangelist Church in Philly. If it isn’t creepy enough walking alone in the city at night, taking photos, this makes me question my wisdom. I wish I could have taken more photos than I did, and from different spots, but it’s not a good idea to walk down dark alleys.
This series is for those who find light in the darkness and darkness in the light.
Questa serie è per coloro che trovano la luce nelle tenebre e le tenebre nella luce.
