Lesser Bushbaby, making it's first appearance for the day, just before dusk. They are nocturnal and usually only leave the nest or start being active in the very late afternoon or after dark. I was lucky enough to have a female bushbaby now occupy an old nesting log in my garden for the past three years where she has now raised offspring three consecutive years. They only use the nest until the babies are old enough to leave the nest and for most part of the year I don't often see them. It was a period of about 3 months where i could sit and wait for them to make their appearance early evening. This past season she raised twins.
