Grey Junglefowl or Sonnerat's Junglefowl is wild fowl endemic to India. I was in sheer luck while visiting Periyar Tiger Reserve. Had stepped out just before returning to click silk cotton flowers when I spotted a group of junglefowl's. Patience paid and these emerged from the thicket. Had to use high ISO due to low early morning light.
