I shot this photo of Portland's Union Station on Friday while I was out photographing some backgrounds for a commercial job I'm currently editing. Compositing is now the norm rather than the exception nowadays in the advertising photography I'm doing. I've been hearing that from a lot of commercial ad shooters.

I think Portland has a beautiful train station and shooting it late in the day when the sun was low really added a lot of dimension. I thought about my friend Aaron Hockley as I shot this. I know he loves trains.

It's made of three handheld exposures (-1|0|+1) that I shot with my Fujifilm X-E1. I blended them in Photomatix Pro 4.2.1.
