"Golden burnt crop fields, endless plains, and those so lonely trees, waiting for the next moment of shadow and water...

Vast scapes where the mind wanders and reflects about this world we live in, about its diversity and magnanimous power, about the smallness of a single human being, compared to the gigantic capacity he has of tearing apart the soil he steps...

Let us be different. Let us try."

Baixo Alentejo - Portugal

Photo taken on a trip to my home land, the city of Beja, and its vast surroundings, know for its endless plains and strong heat, but also by such a powerful feeling of serenity and infinity. It was an amazing weekend, with lots of photos that I'll be posting whenever I can.

Pentax K10d
Sigma 10-20
3 stop + 2 stop ND Grad

Technique - The light was a bit dull in this afternoon, so I went to try a double exposure, with a long exposure for the sky and regular exposure for the land, to achieve than clean sky with a strong sense of flow. Exposure blending in the end.
Post-processing - levels, colour balance, saturation, sharpness.
