I do feel this B&W adds a certain mood to the shot, a good conversion as the eyes are focused straightaway onto the focal of interest, the young man, making the rest becomes secondary. This mode sometimes gives us a cleaner more simplified image and less confusion to the eyes but the impact is tremendous and your message is conveyed effectively. There is something about B&W that makes us notice things instantaneously that we don't notice with color. This works well, sharp with excellent tonal contrast. V+F

I think to grow as a Photographer u need also someone who criticize your work.

I like your Pictures and also the way you put the Black and White Filter on it.

but i think you should put less Picture in your Portfolio that look almost identical to the others.
I think you have strong Pictures in your Portfolio, reduce your Portfolio to less but better Pictures.
