Thank you. Saddle Mountain is not hard to get to at all; the trailhead is off of highway 26 not long before Seaside. The hike is not so hard either-it's only about two miles to the top. You don't need any technical gear apart from some good waterproof boots and maybe hiking poles (there's a lot of snow right now). My ten year old son was with me and he rated it a 4/5 out of 10 for difficulty. :-)
