Being the sixth most populous city in US, Phoenix is still surrounded by amazing nature. From the satellite city of Chandler where we live, I can drive for less than 15 minutes and come to face the seemingly endless desert scene. However, having more than 300 sunny days a year doesn’t help in the photographic sense both in terms of unbearable temperature in the field and boring blue sky. This was taken on the first break from a recent winter storm. Believe me, it’s nice to see clouds all the way to the horizon!
