1) Whine about the other people who had the nerve to show up before you (even though they likely prevented you from doing stupid things like getting close to the giant sucking hole in the ocean)
2) Whine about the uneven crappy sky
3) Come up with an image title to distract viewers from said sky
4) Convert to B&W and hope for the best
I am hoping I did all four satisfactorily.
This is the so-called "Thor's Well" located at Cape Perpetua along the Oregon Coast. The tides have to be just right otherwise it's extremely dangerous or extremely less interesting.

I love B&W seascapes, i think they end up better than colour.
I have another really weird coincidence regarding that night and another photographer who was there. I was 'featured' on another site along with two other people from Oregon. I was looking through one of the other guys photos.. I see a shot of Thor's Well.. I scroll down to the next photo and there is a photo from the night I (and you) were there and I'm in his friggen photo! So weird the coincidences and connections that night has been creating.
