Last night, Saturn was very visible off to the right of the moon, with strong enough binocs, you could actually see four of its moons ... Since it was a particularly clear night, I got out the zoom and tripod and took some photos of the moon. While I was pleased with the results (I did crop them and make minor colour adjustments in PS), it is the first time I have done this kind of photography so if anyone has any pointers, please note these in any comments you may make. Many thanks!
