These colorful, cool columns are part of a very nice sculpture in a high-end shopping mall in Vegas. There are five of these columns in total, in a constant state of change as the ice melts and reforms. There, past the art, is the house of Dior.
Last summer, after I posted an image in here of the Gibson Les Paul guitar at the Philly Hard Rock Café*, I thought about product placement we photographers sometimes inadvertently capture as we go about our business of creating images.
I thought, why should I sell my image files for two bucks ($2 USD) on 500, when I could include big time companies in my images and see if they will throw some appreciation my way? Why should Hollywood be the only one getting in on this lucrative action?
So here are some images taken long before I ever had this product placement thought. How many of your images have advertising built into them in some fashion, be it food, clothing logos, a city, a billboard , ad juxtaposition on a street shot, a tourist attraction….?

*That sentence counts as promotion for four different entities. Count them. I hope no one believes I am serious, just sharing my observation and images.
