This was one small section of the view in my old Chicago apartment. Most people would say the view facing the Sears Tower or the view toward the river and lake were better, but I always liked this one. The blend of old and new, the striking lines, the canyon of State Street, and a small piece of the city grid behind the skyline are all things that drew me into this view. I spent a lot of time gazing at it and photographing it, and it's the one I miss the most.
I almost forgot I had ever shot a timelapse of this until going through my library of material to assemble the new timelapse highlight reel I just released. It's one of over 70 timelapses that make an appearance - check it out at http://chrispzero.com/
