This is a National Historical site on the Big Island, on the Kohala Coast and it is the Heiau of the Great King Kamehameha.
Also known as the Pu'uokhola Heiau or fortress like structure that was built between 1790-1791.
A very incredible site to visit and photograph. The Day we visted this famous site the weather seemed to be the perfect backdrop for my framing.
