This was the finale of the Sydney New Year's Eve fireworks in 2011 where I waited by this vantage point in front of the Opera House for 15 hours during a hot summer's day.
I joined 500px a week ago so am only sharing this photo now on Australia Day (Jan 26th). Although there are no fireworks by the bridge on this particular day, fireworks are being held at various locations around Sydney.
