One of those times where luckily you turned around to see what's behind you. I was so focused on a composition looking the opposite direction (ref. my image 'Into the Distance') I almost missed this shot. When I did finally turn around my heart jumped, I literally ran across the rock tops, nearly killing myself in efforts to salvage a decent comp. before this amazing light was gone. As luck would have it after the color did finally fade and I was heading back to the car I noticed lightning off in the distance coming from an isolated monsoon storm hence my image
'Coal Mine Lightning'. twas a good day :)
