This is the Torii of Itsukushima Shrine. When the tide was going out, many people were walking to the Torii. I like this scene that the Torii is beautiful.
A torii is the archway erected on the approach to a Shinto shrine to mark the boundary between the holy precincts and earthly world. It consists of two standing pillars connected by two horizontal crossbeams, one a little above the other.
The torii of Itsukushima shrine is
large. When the tide has come in, the torii looks floating in the sea. It's a so beautiful scenery.
