On Australia Day (Jan 26th), one of the highlight events is the ferrython. Participating ferries are dressed up and race to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Crowds line the harbour to watch this race whereas I joined a BBQ Harbour Cruise. Unknown to me prior to the race starting, was that our boat was also participating in the race! This photo was taken about 500m from the finishing line. We came fourth!
