The Palouse River plunges over and into an incredible carved basin bowl. The falls is a staggering 198 feet. Climbing down to the rivers edge was an incredible experience...not one I would recommend alone. I wanted to capture the area's character other than the traditional...but awesome...vista of the falls and canyon. Half way down the shear rock wall glows with a red basalt.
