This is another from my latest walk around on the London Underground. Again its Turnpike Lane Station on the Piccadilly Line. I really enjoyed editing this one and the lighting here on this escalator up-shaft really does add some interesting effects and shadows. It did take quite alot of patience to get this one empty as there seemed to be a consistent flow of passengers coming down the escalator but all I needed was the one image and managed to get it.
I originally planned to do this image in colour but changed my mind and felt it worked in B&W better, I am planning to do a colour version shortly though to see what you all think.
In the next coming days I have got a few busy days photographing getting some new material. On Saturday I have got tickets to go up the Shard which is going to be awesome and I am really looking forward to. However there maybe one slight problem in that they may not allow tripods up the Shard and as I have deliberately booked tickets for 1700 to capture the blue hour I really hope that I may not be disappointed as trying to shoot in the that light without a tripod maybe impossible, I will have to find out from the guys who go on Friday. Also on Saturday I have booked a tour of St Pancras Hotel. I was in awe of this place when I went to it in Open House London last year and so had to go back for a second time. Some of my images didn't come out too well from there last time so hopefully get some better images.
Anyway, thats all for now and I hope your all having a great week so far and your all out with those cameras ;-).
