I am on winter vacation now so I can drive to Lu-Gang, a township southern to Taichung city, where it is also one of the oldest place where Chinese people first immigrated from Mainland China to Taiwan several hundreds years ago. There are many old houses and temples and delicious food here. The most important religious and cultural center is this temple, Mazu Temple, located in the busiest and most prosperous area of this township. I went to worship the goddess and hope that she could bless my family healthy and good luck for the coming new year!
