I remember taking this photo so vividly. After being trapped in Akureyri for the last 3 days as i recovered from illness, this was the first venture-out on our continuation of Route 1, Iceland. Not actually on the main ring road itself, as that part was blocked by snow and hadn't been plowed, this still proved to be one of the most amazing mountain vistas we got to stand next to.
