Wind of soft grass is tender to them…

I make my photo tours to Toscana late autumn and early spring. There are 2 reasons for that. First, we are trying to catch fogs. And it is the right time when it is warm during the day and can be very cold at night. And we can see the fog that makes Toscana not an ordinary perfect picture but adds depth, mystery and soul to it… There is no such beautiful, clear and real color of grass and fields in any other season. Though we know that Toscana hills are derived from volcanic eruption that happened thousands and thousands years ago, still the massive material of the hills is trachyte which you can see in the lower part of the picture, and I do not want to think about it… I believe this landscape was made by wind that was blowing along the hills, combed grass-side, and covered everything that needed to be saved with a tender plaid… These overflows of volumes and tints are what Italians have been preserving for the past 5-6 centuries understanding that it is so hard to find more perfect quintessence of harmony between nature beauty and the thing that can be brought into by human who can and is capable of appreciating and preserving such a miracle…
