Shot a few minutes before sunset at the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge in the upper Olympic Peninsula.

Making photographs here was a lot of fun because: a) the place is awesome and b) because I simply love the ocean and shooting water. Both my gear and I ended up completely soaked!

Port Angeles, WA being a small town, means that everything closes pretty early and that meant that I had to make our dinner reservation wearing wet clothes and pretty much looking like a derelict but in the end, who cares? My wife didn't. And I certainly didn't either.

Single exposure using luminosity selections and other advanced masking. I created a Luminosity Mask Tutorial and it's available here: www.howardasnyder.com
