Wonders will never cease. A new image for you. Kingfisher in the rain taken at my good friend Mark Hancox's site in August 2012. We have some beautiful birds here in the UK.

n November 2014 I will be leading a Best of British Birds trip for Natures Images alongside one of Britain's best Bird photographers Mark Hancox. Kingfisher, Little Owl, Buzzard, reflection pools for woodland birds are all jam-packed into this West Midlands based extended weekend break for the bird photography enthusiast. We'll be using some of the top private hides in the area and splitting the group into smaller numbers ensuring more intimate experiences for the azure flash of a Kingfisher arriving on a perch, the cheeky stare of a Little Owl arriving on an old fencepost or the busy activities of multiple woodland bird species as they feed and drink at a leaf-lined reflective pool. There's also plenty of hearty fare to enjoy in the evenings too in this real bird bonanza break. This year's trip is already fully booked, so although it may seem a long way off you need to get in now to avoid disappointment.
