Mount Redoubt is one of 50 volcanoes which have been active in Alaska since 1760. Altogether there are 130 volcanoes and volcanic centres which have been active in the last 2 million years. Alaska contains over 75% of all US volcanoes which have been active for the last two hundred years. As I was headed back home, I decided to stop off at my favorite place to see if there would be a picture there to be taken and sure enough …. Like war drums, our volcanoes are smoking and getting ready to explode.
