Excellent capture. I especially love how the leaves frame the bird.

Wow that was a great find. Ive never seen this type of warbler yet. Warblers are so jumpy and you need patience to get a good image. Therefore you must be a lucky and patient man. Well done.

Nice capture. One winter, I had several Ruby-crowned Kinglets visit my yard and I was fortunate to photograph the male's red patch.

Warblers . . . my nemesis. They're way to fast and I'm way too old and too blind to capture them most of the time. Good on you for getting this beauty. My trusty books tell me they do visit my area, but I have never seen one, so it's great to see yours.

We have two common warblers this time of year - the Yellow-rumped and the Orange-crowned. I see the Yellow-rumped warblers all the time right now, but they see me and like to keep about 50 yards distance, way past anything my 300mm can handle. I was really happy to find one that didn't mind a close-up when I was in Dallas. The Orange-crowned I mostly just hear, their high pitched little chip is identifiable but they are fast and pretty much invisible. There are other rare ones like Golden-cheeked Warblers here all year round, but I haven't seen them. Yet. I need a better telephoto...
