孔明 read as Kong Ming may refer to Zhuge Liang ; a famous statesman,ideologist & strategist during the three kingdoms period(220-280). He was the Cheng Xiang(an ancient term for prime minister)of the kingdom of Shu. He devoted his life to his monarch Liu Bei. Actually 孔 Kong means hole. 明 Ming means clear.Like photography ; capture the best photo through a hole.
