The light filters through the trees just so and a single feather falls toward the ground and in that instant I am transported to a time and place that I have long forgotten. The tourists fan around me gawking at the beauty of the flamingos, while I sit transfixed, lost in my memories of you. Funny how such a small insignificant thing such as a lone feather's flight can trigger such emotion within me.
